Realms X3 SuperZoom -- Impressions

This is our Realme X3 SuperZoom and our first impressions. I thought of trying something new in this video, therefore we did the unboxing in the intro. And if you liked the intro, then don't forget to drop a like on this video. In this video, we will take a look at some of the features of Realme X3 Zoom, its specifications. And what other new things do you get with reference to design? The phone is about to launch in Pakistan on 25th June 2020. Therefore, at this moment we don't have any information regarding its price. My guess is that this phone would be launched near Rs 90,000 to 1 Lac price tag. Because it has some flagship features like 12GB RAM, 256GB Built-in storage. A very strong processor, ultra-smooth display and a periscope camera. Basically, Realme is marketing this phone as a flagship or flagship killer device. Two colours of this phone will be available in Pakistan.

Glacier Blue, and our device for today, which is Arctic White. That's enough of an intro, now let'ss talk about the handset. We will begin with the display. Realme X3 SuperZoom has a 6.6 inches IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, and the resolution of 1080 x 2400 in which the pixel density is 399ppi. There is Gorilla Glass 5 protection over the display. A pill-shaped hole punch cutout is given at the top left of this display. Which has the dual selfie camera setup of this phone? But the most special thing about this display is its 120 Hz refresh rate. Currently, a majority of the phones, including the latest iPhones. all comes with 60 Hz Display. We've mostly seen 120 Hz or more refresh rate panels mostly in just the flagship devices. In fact, the first brand to introduce 90Hz displays in the Pakistani mid-range market was Realme! With this high refresh rate, you will feel the display to be quite smooth. This ultra-smooth display is hard to show in this video because this video was recorded at 30 fps. Whereas, 120 Hz display refreshes 120 times every second. But I will show you with the help of a slow-motion video what the difference actually looks like. This is a 60 Hz refresh rate in 120 fps slow-motion notice there's a lag in scrolling. And this is a 120 Hz refresh rate in slow motion. Notice the smoothness. If we look at it side-by-side then the difference is more visible. 60 Hz feels choppy whereas, 120 Hz feels absolutely smooth and almost real-time. And with this extra smooth feature, the phone will feel faster. Now, if we get to the design Realme X3 Pro is built with glass and plastic. Back is of glass, whereas, the front as I told you before has Gorilla Glass 5 protection and the middle frame is made from plastic. Back doesn't have any Gorilla Glass protection but this back has a soft touch matte glass finish. It fee likeness the latest iPhones and OnePlus phones. And personally, this soft-touch matte glass finish is my favourite finish among the phones nowadays. In this Arctic White colour, you can see multi-coloured shades. Just Wow! The phone looks very beautiful and feels premium. At the right side of the phone there's it's power button and screen on/off button. which also houses its fingerprint sensor Whereas, there are volume buttons at the left side, a noise cancellation mic at the top and at the bottom, there is a dual SIM tray, mic, USB Type-C port and a speaker. You might've noticed there is no headphone jack given in this phone But sadly, this has now become a hallmark for all the flagship and premium phones. Moving forwards, if we talk about the hardware specifications and internals of this phone.

Here too, we see a flagship-type setup and the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor which is based on a 7nm architecture Alongside this, there is Adreno 640 GPU. And as mentioned earlier in the video, this phone will launch in Pakistan with 12GB RAM and 256GB Built-in storage. A UFS 3.0 storage is added in this phone to give you more speed. UFS 3.0 storage is slightly faster and we had mostly seen this feature in flagship phones. And if we talk about expansion, there is a dual SIM support in this phone, but no SD card expansion. But according to me, 256GB built-in storage should be suitable for most people. Out of the box, the phone comes with Android 10, on top of which there is Realme UI. Which has a flavourr very similar to Stock Android? Just like Oxygen OS of OnePlus they've not done much heavy skinning And when you use it, You will find it's flavour and feel a lot like stock android. Along with it, there's haptic feedback on the phone. Like, you normally see in mid-range phones you feel a little vibration instead of that here there is a haptic feedback motor and you feel a gentle click in your wrist when you use this phone This is another premium feature which you will mostly find in the flagship phones, nowadays. So, according to specifications, in my opinion, this phone is geared towards high-performance users, productivity users and gamers. Now we will talk about the battery setup of this phone there's a 4,200 mAh battery in Realme X3 SuperZoom. And along with this phones comes with 30W VOOC fast charging. Realme claims this phone will be, from empty to full charge, within an hour that as 55 mins. And surely, we will test this out in our full review of this phone. Along with this, we will also look at how the phone's battery life is but for that I'll have to use this phone for a few days. Moving forwards, if we talk about the phone's camera setup, a Quad camera setup is given at the back, which includes a 64 MP wide-angle camera of f/1.8 aperture, which is its main shooter. This is the same Samsung GW1 Sensor which we had seen before in a few upper mid-range phones. Along with that, there is an 8MP Periscope telephoto camera Now this periscope camera is a very different kind of technology.

Normally the cameras in phones have a lens at the sensor behind it. But in a periscope camera, there is a mirror behind the lens, which deflect the light rays. And these light rays pass through a magnifying glass and some lenses, hit the sensor. And this gives you a 5x Optical Zoom which gives you a better telephoto or telescopic effect. We had also seen this periscope feature in some flagship phones before. Like Galaxy S20 Ultra, or Huawei P30 Pro. And with this Periscope technology, get,                 a 5x Optical Zoom in Realme X3 SuperZoom. And with using digital zoom, you can reach maximum 60x. If we further move forwards, there is ann 8MP Ultra-wide camera in the phone and a 2MP Macro Camera. If we move towards the front side here, in this pill-shaped hole punch cutout, there is a 32MP f/2.5 aperture wide-angle selfie shooter and an 8MP Ultra-wide camera along with it. I will test the cameras for the full review of this phone. So, if you're interested in watching that be sure to subscribe to the channel. But if I talk about my expectations and experience, then Realme, especially because of Oppo's backing offers very amazing camera experience, in mid-range and upper mid-range market segment. In the full review, we'll see it's zoom in featureseespeciallysuper zoom, how good it works and how much effective it is. So, this is it for the unboxing of Realme X3 SuperZoom and it's features and specifications. Now if I talk about my initial impressions so this phone has impressed me a lot. In 1 lac price range, there are very few, if any which provides this much flagship features like Snapdragon 855+, Periscope camera 120Hz display, 12GB RAM, UFS 3.0 storage, Haptic Feedback these are all of the things that we have seen in the price point above this one, so, I am very excited because of this. It all depends upon what the price might be. If it's the price is less than a lac so, to me, this will be an excellent phone, and just like before we will see Realme shaking up this price bracket again.

Now I will use this phone for a few days and wait for the price so that I can give you my opinions. In the meantime, I want to know your thoughts. How did you find the Realme X3 SuperZoom? What are the features you liked the most?
